A brief list of career episodes...
My research interests are in computer vision. In recent years my interests have concentrated on finding low-level invariant measures in images. That is, finding low-level quantities that can be extracted, irrespective of image contrast and scale. This work has concentrated on using local phase information in images to construct invariant quantities for feature detection, symmetry/asymmetry analysis, feature matching, and disparity estimation. I also have interests in 3D reconstruction, forensic image processing and biometrics.
